Disney's First Latina Princess

Mulan bent traditional gender roles when she took her father's place in the Chinese army in 1998's "Mulan."

Disney introduces newest princess, Elena of Avalor, a 16-year-old character inspired from Latin legend and folklore to debut in an episode of Disney Junior's animated show "Sofia the First" in 2016. See Full Story>
