More Than 100 Dead After Violence Surrounding Brazil Police Strike

The Brazilian government deployed over 1,200 troops to the state Espirito Santo after a week-long police strike spawned lawlessness throughout the region, particularly the capital city of Vitoria, with more than 100 reported homicides, closed schools, shut-down businesses and a halt to public transportation.
