Dozens of Afghan Security Forces Killed in Taliban Attack

Conflicting reports put the death toll from a Taliban attack near Maidan Shar in the province of Maidan Wardakin, Afghanistan between 45 to 100, with more than 58 injured, after a suicide bomber drove a Humvee packed with explosives up to an Afghan military training base housing members of the National Directorate of Security (NDS), destroying  most of the building and leaving bodies trapped inside the rubble.
