President Donald Trump and US Central Command reported that US airstrikes killed high ranking al-Qaeda operative Jamal al-Badawi, listed on the FBI's most wanted list for his involvement in the bombing of the Navy destroyer USS Cole while it refueled in Yemen's Aden Harbor in 2000, an attack which left 17 servicemen dead and more than 40 others injured.
