Philippine Measles Outbreak Kills Causes 70 Deaths


A measles outbreak in the Philippines reached over 4,000 cases and caused 70 deaths, according to a Department of Health report this week, a crisis which has spread around the capital of Manila and affected mostly poor families following a decline in immunizations blamed on a public scare over a dengue fever vaccine.
