Cease-Fire Reached After Israeli-Palestinian Rocket Attacks and Airstrikes Leave More Than 20 Dead

The nation of Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas reached a cease-fire after a tit-for-tat escalation which led to over 600 rockets launched from the Gaza Strip and 260 strategic airstrikes by the Israel Defense Force (IDF), leaving more than 20 people dead, including a pregnant mother and her 14-month-old niece and targeted attack that killed high ranking military commander Hamed Ahmed Al-Khodary.
