Former Malaysian PM Najib Razak Sentenced to 12 Years in Prison For Multi-Billion Dollar Corruption Scandal
A court in Malaysia found former Prime Minister Najib Razak guilty on all seven charges against him linked to a multi-billion dollar corruption case in association with the state fund 1MDB, including three counts of money laundering, three counts and criminal breach and one count of abuse of power, handing down a $50 million fine and a 12 year prison sentence.
