Two Islamic militant suicide bombers, one allegedly a female, struck the southern island of Jolo in the Philippines killing 14 people and wounding 75 others, the first in the capital city of Sulu near the town plaza, and a second near the Cathedral of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, where last year an explosion killed 23 worshipers gathered for Sunday Mass.
