Army Lieutenant Pepper-Sprayed by Virginia Police Files Lawsuit, Officer Fired

 

Virginia officials announced the firing of officer Joe Gutierrez, the cop filmed in a video which went viral pointing a gun at and pepper-spraying 27-year-old Caron Nazario, an active duty US Army Medical Corps lieutenant multiple times during a routine traffic stop in December of last year, stating that he broke department protocol.
