Kunduz Suicide Bombing at Shiite Mosque Kills 50, Wounds 100

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing on the Said Abad mosque in the northern Afghan city of Kunduz while more than 300 worshipers attended Friday prayers, an attack which killed 50 people and wounded 100 others, making it the deadliest assault since the US withdrew its troops in late August.
