Malaysian Authorities Confiscate $18M Worth of Poached Animal Contraband

The Malaysia Customs Department said authorities seized over $18 million worth of poached animal contraband hidden behind sawn timber on a ship while performing checks at North Port in Port Klang, a stash containing 13,000 pounds of African elephant tusks and more than 200 pounds of pangolin scales.
