Conrado Mendoza, the mayor of the village San Miguel Totolapan in the Mexican state of Guerrero, and his father Juan Mendoza, were among other local officials killed when a conflict between two rival gangs led to an attack at the town municipal palace which left 20 people dead, and two others wounded.
