An operation led by Mexican security forces in the northwestern city of Culiacan to capture 32-year-old Ovidio "El Raton" Guzman, the son of infamous drug kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, ended in a raid which resulted in the deaths of 10 soldiers and 19 members of the Sinaloa cartel, and extensive damage to both military and civilian aircraft at a local airport, just as US President Joe Biden is set to visit the southern border country for talks.
