The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for an explosion inside the Nabawi mosque in the Faizabad district of Badakhshan in northern Afghanistan, where eleven people died in an attack which targeted Taliban officials during a prayer service honoring the deputy governor, who was killed in a car bomb earlier this week.
