A strong magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck the remote region of northwestern Nepal, with an epicenter about 200 miles west-northwest of Kathmandu and tremors felt as far away as New Delhi, the capital city of India, collapsing homes and buildings in villages in and around the region, killing at least 157 people.
