According to the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 20,000 people have been killed so far in the nearly three months-long war between Israel and Hamas since fighting began on October 7, making it by far the deadliest and most destructive of the five wars since Hamas took occupation of Gaza back in 2007, with the death toll continuing to rise daily, forcing almost all of its 2.3 million population to flee the region.
