Massive Nepal Landslide Sweeps Two Passenger Buses Into Raging River, 60 Missing

 

Rescue workers continue to search for survivors after heavy monsoon rains in Nepal caused a massive landslide to sweep away two passenger buses carrying more than 50 people into the raging Trishuli river near Chitwan along the Narayanghat-Mugling highway, approximately 60 miles (100km) west of the capital Kathmandu, carrying away some bodies as far as 50km away, and leaving at least 60 people missing.
