At Least 95 Dead After Spain Experiences Worse Flooding in Decades

 

At least 95 people have been confirmed dead with an untold number still unaccounted for, after 12 inches (30.5cm) of rain fell on parts of southern and eastern Spain, an amount the region usually receives in a year, causing flash flooding that swept away entire villages and turning some of the worst affected locations into disaster zones.
