Torre Dei Conti Tower Collapses in Rome, One Dead

 

A 95-foot high tower at the 800-year-old Torre dei Conti in Rome, Italy, a medieval structure built by Pope Innocent III near the Roman Forum and Colosseum, collapsed, trapping a 66-year-old worker doing restoration work on the building under the rubble for 11-hours, who later died from his injuries at a nearby hospital.
