Police in the capital city of Berlin, Germany shot dead 21-year-old Abdul Ballout, a suspect considered an "Islamic terrorist" with roots in Lebanon, after he rammed his van into a crowd gathered at a Pride event in Tiergarten park near the Brandenburg Gate, then attacked participants with a knife, killing one person and injuring 29 others.
