A fire broke out at the overcrowded Vathy refugee camp on the Greek island of Samos, destroying the makeshift homes and tents of thousands of people living at the site, reported a migration ministry official, the second such disaster to hit the areas in less than a year, when thousands lost their belongings after a similar blaze tore through area in October 2019.
