More Than 81 Dead Following Massive 7.0 Earthquake in Turkey, Greece


A powerful magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck the Aegean Sea, destroying homes, businesses and toppling high-rise buildings in the Turkish coastal province of Izmir, killing more than 81 people as rescuers continue to search for survivors trapped under rubble, and injuring thousands as far as the Greek island of Samos.
