In response to a recent attack on facilities housing US personnel in Erbil, Iraq which killed a contractor and injured one other, President Joe Biden ordered multiple airstrikes in eastern Syria on infrastructure used by Turkish-backed militia groups in the region, which killed at least 22 people, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
