Police in Hong Kong raided the newsroom offices of the pro-democracy Apple Daily newspaper and arrested chief editor Ryan Law, the CEO of its publisher Next Digital, the chief operating officer and two other top editors on charges of colluding with foreign powers under its sweeping national security law, a new policy which has drawn international condemnation from foreign powers, including the United States.
