The US-based advocacy group, Democracy for the Arab World Now (DAWN) called for an investigation into the death of 33-year-old prominent United Arab Emirates dissident Alaa al-Siddiq, a rights activist and critic who allegedly died as a result of an automobile accident in Oxfordshire, England, citing suspicions over recent government suppressions of free speech, including the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
