A devastating landslide in the central Japanese resort town of Atami in the prefecture of Shizuoka killed at least four people and left more than 80 missing after a torrent of black mud brought on by extremely heavy rainfall coursed through the area from the mountains, sweeping away homes and covering everything in its path.
