Chinese executive Meng Wanzhou, the Chief Financial Officer of Huawei, arrived back to her homeland after nearly three years of detainment by Canada on US fraud charges which the government said it would eventually drop, in exchange for the release of two Canadians, former diplomat Michael Kovrig and businessman Michael Spavor, who had been detained by China for over 1,000 days.
