One of Brazil's most popular singers, 26-year-old Marilla Mendoca, a Latin Grammy winning country music star "known as the Queen of Suffering", died tragically after a plane carrying her to a concert crashed about 100 miles north of Rio, killing her uncle who worked as a producer, and both of the aircraft's pilots.
