Libya's High National Election Commission announced the disqualification Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of longtime Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, from running as one of its candidates for the country's presidency in the upcoming December election, pending an appeals process which will ultimately be decided by a judiciary.
