Mexican Gangs Burn Shops, Vehicles After Cartel Boss Arrests

 

The U.S. Consulate in Guadalajara, the capital of Jalisco state, advised its employees to "follow the guidance of local authorities and to shelter in place until further notice" after reports of road blockades, the burning of shops, businesses and vehicles, and shootouts with police following the arrest of several high-level cartel leaders.
