Irene Cara, who won an Academy Award, two Grammys and an Oscar, but probably best known for singing the title song and playing the character Coco Hernandez in the hit 1980's musical 'Fame' and defining and era with 'Flashdance...What A Feeling,' died in her Florida home at the age of 63.
