Authorities in the Bahamas arrested Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), former CEO and founder of the now bankrupt crypto trading firm FTX at the behest of US prosecutors, charging him with eight counts of federal charges, including conspiracy to commit fraud and violations of campaign finance laws, alleging he used the cryptocurrency exchange to divert customer funds for "fraudulent purposes" before it collapsed last month.
