Tensions continue to rise in Israel and the occupied West Bank after a spate of tit-for-tat attacks left more than a dozen people dead, beginning with Israeli commandos raiding an alleged Islamic Jihad group situated inside a refugee camp in Jenin, killing nine people and injuring more than 20 others, followed by a retaliatory deadly shooting by a Palestinian man outside an East Jerusalem synagogue which left seven Israelis dead.
