A court in Guatemala sentenced prominent 66-year-old newspaper founder and journalist Jose Ruben Zamora to six years in prison and a payment of Q300,000 quetzales ($40,000) for the crime of money laundering, with many Human rights groups calling the trial "shameful", saying the conviction had been used to settle a political score among the country's elite.
