Two Pilots Dead After Firefighting Plane Crashes in Greece

 

The Armed Forces in Greece declared three days of mourning for two pilots who died after the Canadair CL-215 they were flying clipped a tree, causing them to lose control and lose altitude while making a last-ditch effort to extinguish flames while fighting the raging wildfires on the Island of Evia near Athens, Greece, which have also ravaged the countries of Italy, Spain and Portugal. See Full Story>
