French prosecutors opened an investigation into charges of "cyber harassment based on gender, public insults based on gender, public incitement to discrimination, and public insults on the basis of origin" following a complaint made by Algerian Olympic boxer Imane Khelif, who took a flood of online criticism and false claims concerning her sex, even from the likes of Donald Trump, J.K.
