Canada Mourns Indigenous Mass Grave Filled With Children Found on Former School Grounds

 

A mass grave containing the remains of at least 215 indigenous children, some as young as three-years-old, has been uncovered at a burial site on the grounds of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School, once Canada's largest boarding facility run by the Roman Catholic Church, created to forcibly assimilate a youth population from the First Nations tribe into the Canadian culture.
