In protest of the Biden administration's immigration policies on securing the southern border, Governors Ron DeSantis of Florida and Greg Abbott of Texas teamed up by sending two busloads of migrants from countries including Venezuela, Cuba and Panama to Vice President Kamala Harris' residence at US Naval Observatory in Washington DC, and other areas north, including Martha's Vinyard in Massachusetts, a move that many immigration rights groups see as a "shameful" political stunt.
