Severe Flooding in Vietnam Leaves at Least 90 Dead

 

Heavy rainfall across portion of south-central Vietnam, with amounts exceeding 75in (1,900mm) in some areas over the week, caused major flooding, landslides, the destruction of more than 180,000 homes and at least 90 deaths, especially in Dak Lak province, one of the hardest hit regions, with more than 60 reported killed.
