The death toll from devastating flooding in the west Indian state of Maharashtra rose to over 136 as rescue workers continue to search for survivors trapped in landslides and throughout streets submerged in high water and debris brought on by heavy monsoon rains which buffeted the area, with more then 90,000 people being forced to evacuate from their homes.
